Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RoutePal (the “App”), provided by RoutePal (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
RoutePal is a logistics and route assignment platform that helps drivers and logistics personnel plan, visualize, and navigate optimized delivery routes. The App processes route-related data such as customer names, phone numbers, addresses, locations, and uploaded documents to provide navigation and analytics tools. To support these features, RoutePal may rely on third-party services (e.g., Google Maps, OpenRouteService, AWS) for geolocation, route optimization, data extraction, and map rendering.
2. Use of the App
By using RoutePal, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not upload harmful, malicious, or abusive content
- Not interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
- Provide accurate, lawful, and authorized data (e.g., delivery addresses, documents)
- Acknowledge that route accuracy may depend on external data sources
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access if we detect misuse or if your use violates these Terms.
3. Data Usage
We temporarily process data such as:
- GPS and location data
- Addresses and waypoints
- Uploaded routing or delivery documents
Some of this data may be shared with trusted third-party services (e.g., AWS for document processing, Google for geocoding, OpenRouteService for routing) as necessary to deliver the core functionality of the App. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated purposes.
For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
4. No Warranties
RoutePal is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we strive for reliability, we do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or availability
- Route or ETA accuracy
- Error-free performance
Use of the App is at your own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoutePal Technologies shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Losses due to navigation errors, delays, or missed deliveries
- Issues arising from third-party services we integrate with (e.g., map data, geocoding, routing APIs)
- Inaccurate or incomplete input data provided by the user
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to discontinue use.
6. Third-Party Services
To provide key functionality, RoutePal integrates with third-party providers. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Excel Parsing: Import and processing of spreadsheet data
- AWS (Amazon Web Services): Text extraction from uploaded documents
- OpenRouteService: Route optimization
- Google Services: Geocoding, stop visualization, and navigation
By using the App, you acknowledge that certain features depend on these services and may be subject to their terms and limitations.
7. User Data & Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload or input into the App (e.g., delivery addresses, routing files, documents). By using RoutePal, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process, store, and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
We do not claim ownership over your data and do not use it for purposes unrelated to the operation of RoutePal.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content in the App are the property of RoutePal Technologies. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our express written permission.
9. Modifications to the Terms
